The Olivier Awards Best Musical of 2011 show Legally Blonde the musical is set to be staged in Dublin from the 10th April to the 21st April 2012.

Winner of seven major awards, the all singing, all dancing romantic comedy touts itself as a show about "knowing who you are and showing what you've got". Based on the original film, it is a musical adaption of the can-do spirit Elle Woods maintains in the film.

When she is dumped by her boyfriend, Warner, she decides to follow him to Harvard Law School and win him back. But with some help from new-found friends Paulette, Emmett and her Chihuahua Bruiser, she learns that it's so much better to be smart.

The feel-good story is directed by Tony and Olivier Award-winning Jerry Mitchell (Hairspray), and is described as "the funniest and most fabulous musical around. The best show in town, case closed."

Ray Quinn (Brookside, X Factor finalist, Dancing on Ice winner and star of Dirty Dancing and Grease in the West End) plays the role of 'Warner' with Niki Evans (X Factor, Blood Brothers in the West End and on tour) as 'Paulette'.
